Lori Webb-Griffith is Chief Risk Officer at FundBank. As Chief Risk Officer, Lori brings to the bank almost 20 years’ experience working within the global financial and banking services industry. Lori is responsible for the design, oversight and execution of FundBank’s risk management framework.
Lori has been instrumental in the augmentation and standardization of the risk management framework across the bank, embedding a holistic and detailed approach for the identification, measurement and ongoing monitoring of risks impacting FundBank. She is also responsible for the annual coordination and oversight of the execution of the Bank’s Internal Audit function. Furthermore, Lori continues as the primary lead for interactions facilitating the bank’s various strategic initiatives and growth plans.
Prior to joining FundBank in 2020, Lori was employed by Waystone initially as Managing Director followed by Chief Risk Officer where she also served as a professional independent director with a governance portfolio that spanned a wide range of sophisticated private investment funds. Lori’s experience covered a number of fund related transactional matters including appointments on contentious and non-contentious wind-downs and distressed companies, in particular guiding stakeholders through various extraordinary events.
Lori graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor’s degree in Education with a major in Mathematics and received her STEP Diploma in 2007. She is a member of the Cayman Islands Directors Association, STEP Cayman Islands and 100 Women in Finance.
